Heater - Winter - Family Bonding
About
'Bonfire' was the outcome of a classroom project that dealt with learning how to deal with complex products. This project pushed me to not only learn how to comprehend the physics with which tangible products are bound but also learn how to design specifically for manufacturability. To come up with a design that speaks cohesively and holistically to both the user and the surroundings while checking the above-mentioned physical constraints was something that posed to be incredibly exciting for me!

where people not only kept themselves warm but also use share life stories, perform folk music and play games
Why winter bonfire
are dying out?
Migration
It separated people and into smaller group and motivated families to sort of build a personal identity.

Building connection
Emotions of Rural migrant in a Cityscape
Migrants often experience loneliness, as well as social rejection and shame in hostile urban conditions and most of the time could only relate with family members or other migrants
migrants feel like they have been removed from the familiarity of their home community and the routines of daily life and the unfamiliar surroundings shows a decrease in family support
Which often leaves the migrants feel alienated, confused, nostalgic, or lonely. Such a transition could lead migrants to re-evaluate their ideas about individualism and family relationship
